About

Hi!  For those of you who don’t know me, I am Shelly Regner.  I am 30 years old and live in the awesome city, Pittsburgh, PA.  I am redeemed by my Savior Jesus Christ and have committed to live my life for Him.  I have my Master’s in Social Work and my passion is for vulnerable children and families.  I am currently working full-time as a nanny and part-time as a Permanency Social Worker for Bethany Christian Services.  At Bethany, I work with families who have adopted; providing support to their family and helping to run support groups for the families and the children.  When I’m not working or meal prepping, some of the things I enjoy are spending time with my family, participating in Bible Study with Urban Impact, running, working out, hiking, reading, playing games, and traveling.

The reason for this blog is I have been on a long journey of gut dysfunction.  I have finally received a diagnosis and am starting my long road to healing.  This journey has been full of struggles, learning (both Spiritual and gut health), and emotional ups and downs.  I think a blog will help me process and learn throughout this journey and hopefully provide encouragement and support to others.

I would love to receive any encouragement, feedback, or comments you all would like to share 🙂
